Our goal is to provide a low cost, Professional Venue,
where players practice and play socially or competitively in events and tournaments which are set up and run by the players.
By using the highest level of equipment which is only seen at International Events, this venue and set-up by
far surpasses the conditions we have been used to over the years.
We look forward to you visiting us at the Shack Academy to take part in our Events and eventually becoming a member so to help support
and secure the future of this great facility.
This privately run Academy is a not-for-profit establishment which encourages the development and
interest in Cuesports within the community, county and country. We welcome all support!
The Pool Knight Shack consists of a number of players and
individuals who came together forming this Academy. The contributions from its Members is the sole funding of
this establishment. This is what covers all the operational costs including the renting and maintaining of a
suitable facility and the equipment therin so to produce a top quality Academy.
This facility is a unique addition to community sports clubs in Ireland. It benefits and assists with the
development of skills of all players of all ages, standards, race, gender, sexual orientation or ability. Some of our members have assisted and coached in various sections and categories including
LD's/Special Needs, Juniors, Ladies and Mens.
Many still compete and represent Ireland at the highest levels
internationally.
