With a very tough League line up in 2011, Paul Dunne wins his first 9-Ball League title on frame count over Estonian Champion and Shack veteran Max Pinchuk. The result could have gone any way between 3 or 4 players as the season drew to a close. This has to have been the best finish to date in the Shack Academy 9-Ball League.
To top it off Paul Dunne also reached the final of the Championship Playoff facing the 2010 champion Paul Tierney. The Playoff is one of the hardest events to win yet Paul Tierney managed to make the final for a second year running. On the day it was Paul Dunne who took the match in 2 straight sets completing his well deserved double for 2011.

As the Marathon Pool Competitions rolled on into the early hours those who made an early exit went on to enjoy a game of Darts or played cards at the Poker table. It was a great atmosphere throughout the night. Well done to Gavin Cleary who went on to win the Blackball Event and to David Poole who won the American 10-Ball Event.
